Call Centers

Besides counting on legal dispositions oriented to the call centers promotion, the Republic of Panama also offers a suitable environment to attract this type of company.  For example, in Panama there are a series of submarine fiberoptic networks that converge, facilitating the international communication tasks.

In addition to this, Panama has a stable economy which official currency since 1904 has been the U.S. Dollar, and also has a series of public and private educational programs aimed to reinforce the learning of the English language, meaning that the qualified labor for this activity is also reinforced.

Panamanian laws motivate the establishment of call centers when offering tax incentives like the exemption for this type of companies of the international call tax, anciently established by Law 88 of 1961. Call centers in Panama are also granted all those tax, migratory and work benefits that are offered to the companies established in export processing zones.
